MY STORY

As a 20+ year practicing attorney in Raleigh, North Carolina, I have a lot of days when I like to unwind at the end of the day and on the weekends. My retreat space is usually my workshop, and my favorite workshop project is combining resin with wood to create one-of-a kind amazing show pieces, including various sized tables, wall art, charcuterie boards, coasters, and more.

Over the past several years, I’ve used different types of woods (spalted maple, oak, walnut, pecan, pine, and cedar, to name a few), mainly from right here in North Carolina, from the beaches to the mountains. I can certainly procure and use just about any type of wood you’d like, and the resin color choices are almost endless. I’ve also used other materials in combination with the resin, including crushed glass, pinecones, and burnt wood.

I’ve attached some examples of my work, but I also do made-to-order pieces. Unless otherwise listed for a particular piece, pricing will depend on type and size of wood, volume of resin, and type of hardware to accompany piece.
